    D2Companion v0.1.1 Beta

    This is a bugfix beta update for D2Companion.

    Existing users should download the new Windows zip, extract it, and replace
    their old app files with the new package. Your local data remains local in the
    folder where you run the app.

    What's Fixed

    • Fixed realm detection, including USWest.
    • Fixed same account names on different realms being kept separate.
    • Fixed Hardcore / Softcore and Ladder / Non-Ladder metadata display.
    • Fixed naked zero-item characters not appearing in My Accounts.
    • Fixed impossible observed player levels such as 0 or huge invalid values.
    • Fixed item name issues:
      • Exile
      • of Decrepify
      • Armageddon Slippers
    • Fixed Mercenary controls appearing when no mercenary was actually captured.
    • Fixed Gear Viewer selection jumping back to the startup/live character after
      opening a character from the dashboard.
    • Added dynamic refresh polish for Accounts, Observed Players, and the Gear
      Viewer account selector.
    • Improved Equipment selector favorite ordering.
    • From Observed Gear, clicking Accounts now opens Observed Accounts.

    Requirements

    • Windows x64.
    • Diablo II: Lord of Destruction 1.14d.
    • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime may be required.
    • Proxifier or an equivalent per-application proxy tool is required only for
      optional live capture.
    • Bundled Node is included in the official Windows zip.

    Normal users do not need the .NET SDK, .NET Runtime, Node.js, or npm for the
    official Windows zip.

    Refresh Guidance

    • MuleLogger data: re-import the same MuleLogger source if old item names,
      sprites, or metadata look stale.
    • Styx data: take a fresh live snapshot after installing the new version.
    • Old canonical item name/color data: only if needed, run recanonicalize from
      the local app/debug endpoint:
